In 2021, Plastika Kritis was approached by Safe Seal Wrap to collaborate on developing a next-generation shrink wrap film specifically designed for construction projects. This innovative product underwent rigorous testing across various climates, with valuable feedback provided by shrink wrap installers in regions such as Canada, the Middle East, and New Zealand.
The resulting formula features an extended lifespan of 18 months due to its UV inhibitors, surpassing any competing products on the market. It is engineered to provide a tighter shrink compared to traditional products originally designed for transportation and small marine applications.
Safe Seal Wrap is manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities located in Greece, France, and two Plastika Kritis-owned Hi-Tec facilities in Shanghai and Nanjing. The choice of production location is strategically determined by the target market, optimizing logistics costs. All manufacturing sites are ISO certified, and the Hi-Tec plants are managed by Greek executives and technicians. This stringent quality control and oversight guarantee that Safe Seal Wrap is consistently produced to meet European and international standards, regardless of the manufacturing location.
